<br />, <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />Page Two <br />Mr. Matt Rehbein - Apex Developers of MN, Inc. <br />Design I Build Proposal <br />June 27, 2002 <br /> <br />PROJECT PROGRAM <br /> <br />We have prepared our Design / Build proposal based on our attached drawing listed as <br />Attachment "A" and our previous experience and the following narrative. <br /> <br />This estimate will include the building shell only. No sitework or interior build-out is <br />requested. <br /> <br />The structural system of this building is proposed to be exterior load bearing eMU rock- <br />faced block, natural finish. The structural steel design to include interior columns, wide <br />flanged beams, metal bar joists and metal deck. Utilize standard size footings and <br />interior pads assuming sufficient soils are present. Include injected foam insulation in <br />the walls. <br /> <br />The exterior of the building is to be painted. The roof system to be a 45 mil EPDM <br />ballasted roof with copings, scuppers and downspouts. Include one 4' x 5' roof hatch for <br />access above the mechanical room and sufficient wall packs to illuminate the entries <br />and dock areas. The aluminum glass and glazing to use standard tinted glass and <br />aluminum frames in the quantities shown. Include six exterior dock stairs. <br /> <br />The interior of the building to be tempered only with unit heaters to minimum levels so as <br />building won't freeze up. Plumbing system to include a sanitary line stubbed to within 5'- <br />0" of the mechanical room. This sanitary would them provide a floor drain in the <br />mechanical room and a continuous line to within 40' of the front of the building with <br />clean-outs every other bay. The 6" water line to be brought in from within 5'-0" from the <br />building turned up in the mechanical room. The fire protection contractor to provide a <br />standard type system for this type of building. The domestic water line to be run above <br />the sanitary line with a shut off valve every other bay. The electrical service to include a <br />standard 2,000 amp service with a 277 I 480 volt house panel and a 110 / 208 amp <br />house panel. Switchgear to include sockets for six tenants and 1 house meter. Provide <br />insulated overhead doors with an option for operators. Include dock bumpers only at all <br />doors.
