The Cities ofLino Lake and Centerville have been asked by concerned Jake residents and representatives from the Department of Natural Resources to consider adopting a no wake ordinance for the northern section of Peltier Lake in order to protect a large rookery that exists there. While no public hearing is necessary,* the City COWlCil has scheduled opportunities for public input ofthis proposed ordinance during the next two Council meetings.
