I I r <br /> <br />grades of the intersecting streets in a triangle bounded by the street of the lot and a <br />line joining points along the street lines fifty (50) feet from the point of the <br />intersection. <br /> <br />421.03 Accessory Buildings/Structures. <br /> <br />Subd. I. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. <br /> <br />Subd. 4. <br /> <br />Subd. 5 <br /> <br />In Yards. No detached accessory building may be constructed on a <br />parcel without a principal structure and cannot be located within any <br />yard other than the rear yard or the side yard. <br /> <br />Minimum Setbacks. No accessory building or any eave or other portion <br />of any accessory building may be located within five (5) feet of either <br />side property line or ten (10) feet of the rear property line, except in the <br />M -I Zoning District. <br /> <br />Setback from Principal Structure. Unless attached to and made a part of <br />the principal structure, no eave or other portion of an accessory building <br />may be closer than six (6) feet to the principal structure, except as <br />otherwise provided for in this section. <br /> <br />No more than two (2) accessory structures are permitted on any Single- <br />Family, detached dwelling parcel located in any residential zoning <br />district, except R- I. <br /> <br />No accessory structure may be placed in any easement. <br /> <br />Design. All accessory buildings constructed after the construction of the <br />principal structure must be designed and constructed in a manner <br />consistent with the design and general appearance of the principal <br />structure. The side walls of an accessory building may not exceed ten <br />(10) feet in height <br /> <br />The combined aggregate square footage of an accessory structure may <br />not exceed two hundred (200) square feet or two percent (2%) of the lot <br />area, whichever is greater, except in the M-I and R-4 Zoning Districts. <br /> <br />Accessorv Buildings Attached. If an accessory building is attached to <br />the principal structure, it will be considered a part of the principal <br />structure and must comply with all setbacks and other requirements <br />applicable to the principal structure. <br /> <br />The total area of an attached accessory building (garage) shall be no <br />greater than 1500 square feet per level. <br /> <br />421.04 Swimming Pools. Swimming pools are defined as any structure, basing chamber or <br />tank, used for swimming or bathing, over 24 inches in depth, and that is constructed <br />about or below ground. Swimming pools may exceed the size requirements for <br />accessory structures as described in this section, but they cannot exceed fifty percent <br />(50%) ofthe rear yard. <br />
