<br />Effective: 8/1/78 <br />City of Centerville Ord. #31 <br /> <br />G. Wrecking of structures. <br />H. All rences. <br />I. Asphalt work. <br /> <br />Nothing herein sball be construed as preventing any such qualified licensee from <br />performing the work by an employee under his. supervision and control, nor a property <br />owner from performing his own work providing all provisions of the Uniform Building <br />code are adhered to. <br /> <br />A license granted to a general contractor sball include the right to perform all of the work <br />included in his general contract. Such license sball included any or all persons <br />performing the work which is classified and listed in Section 4 above, provided that each <br />person performing such work is in the regular employ of such general contractor and <br />qualified as required under state law and the provisions of this Ordinance to perform such <br />work. The general contractor sball be responsible for the quality and completeness of all <br />of the work so performed. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. The Ordinance sball not be construed to effect the responsibiIity or liability for any <br />party owning, operating or installing the above described work fur damages to persons or <br />property caused by any defect therein nor sball the City of. Centerville be held as <br />assuming any such liability by reason of the licensing of persons, :firms or corporations <br />engaged in such work. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. The City Council may issue a variance hereto, Walvrng the requirements of the <br />Ordinance or any portions thereof in the event of a declared emergency and for such <br />period of time as deemed by the Council to be necessary. <br /> <br />SECTION 7. Any license may be revoked for just cause after a public hearing proceeded by ten (10) <br />days written notice to the licensee. <br /> <br />SECTION 8. Any person, firm or corporation who sball violate any provision of this Ordinance sball <br />be guilty of a misdemeanor as defined by State Law. <br /> <br />SECTION 9.
