<br />City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 13, 2005 <br /> <br />Mr. Rick Carlson addressed Council and provided an overview of his preliminary plat <br />and PUD for Hunters Crossing, 3'd Addition. He then noted that he has purchased <br />adjacent property, extended the cul-de-sac and added the 7 lots for a total of 44 lots. <br /> <br />Mr. Carlson indicated that Parks & Recreation has agreed to cash in lieu of fees and <br />the Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval. He then said that he <br />has submitted plans to Rice Creek Watershed District for approval. <br /> <br />Mr. Carlson asked Council to order the feasibility study if his preliminary plat is <br />approved. He also said he would like to create the grading at this time while it is dry. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson recommended a grading permit and surety to ensure that <br />the work is properly completed. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that the feasibility would need to be amended to <br />include the additional property and the minor changes presented with this preliminary <br />plat. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee. seconded by Council Member Terway to close <br />the public beann!!:. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra closed the public hearing at 6:45 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Lakso to <br />approve the Preliminary Plat and pun for Hunter's Crossin!!:. 3rd Addition. All <br />in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Terwav. seconded bv Council Member Paar to <br />amend the feasibilitv study. All in favor. Motion earned unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Mr. Carlson indicated that the last time he did a grading permit it was a permit fee <br />and not a cash surety. City Attorney Hoeft indicated that based on the fact that Mr. <br />Carlson has a good working relationship with the City in the past, he has been <br />allowed to not provide cash surety for grading. <br /> <br />Council Members Lee and Paar indicated they feel confident that the grading permit <br />fee will be sufficient with this developer. <br /> <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1.
