A PC Solution's representative <br />stated that the $4,400.00 block is fully refundable if it is not used, can be carried over from year to <br />year and there is no minimum base charge per hour. By prepaying this amount, the City saves $19.00 <br />an hour. PC Solutions is able to help us with any computer and/or most software issues we have and <br />have been very responsive to the City's needs. They also have the capability to fix problems over the <br />internet which is cost effective for the City. <br /> <br />Attached are quotes for the Geek Squad (via internet) for your convenience; a brochure and quote <br />from CHIPS Computer Service, Hugo. <br /> <br />Geek Squad: Amounts vary (see attached.) <br /> <br />CHIPS Computer Services: $95.00 per hour plus travel time <br />Labor discounts for prescheduled Service Plan Visits as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Quarterly Service 5% <br />Monthly Service 10% <br />Bi-weekly Service 15% <br />Weekly Service 20% <br />Greater than Weekly Service 25% <br /> <br />Discount service rates only apply to normally scheduled visits. <br /> <br />If additional service visits are required, no discounted service rate will be applied. There is a I hour <br />minimum charge per service appointment. Customers that participate in the CHIPS Service Plan will <br />be given preference for repair calls and a discount for regularly scheduled service calls; otherwise, <br />calls will be charge at the regular rate of $95.00 per hour. <br />
