<br />EXPERIENCE <br />Brym Harjes' experience includes work onanumber ofmasterplanningprojeclBfor <br />both private sector and public sector clients. In addition to providing his site design <br />e>pertisetoanumber ofresidentialandnrixed useprojects,Bryanhasalso oontrlbuted <br />his urban design skills to several redevelopment projects, including downtown <br />revitalizltion plansfor Hutchinson andExcelsior;redevelopmentguides for areas in <br />Little Canada and Prior Lake; and streetscape improvements for a number of <br />communities. In addition, Bryan has played a critical role in the desigo phase on <br />largerneighborbood design projeclBin Cottage Grove andFarnriogton, as well asthe <br />Upper Harbor Terminal Design project along tbe Upper Mississippi River in <br />Minneapolis. <br /> <br />Brymhas oontributed to anumber of park design projeclB, most notably tbe award- <br />winning Hastings River Flats project tbat features ecological restoration and <br />preservaton, interpretive resources, andfestival grounds onanabandonooindustrial <br />site. Finally, Bryanhasproducedoonstruction doannentationfortbeimplementation <br />phase of anumber of projeclB. <br /> <br />AREAS OF EXPERTISE <br />Bryan's interest and skill in neigbborhood desigo has helped him become one of <br />HKGi's design experts, particularly in the areas of urban design and residential site <br />design. He has been tbe principal designer for a series of residential development <br />projectsin Cambridge, Ramsey, Carver, Chaska, Gem Lake, and Cologne, Minnesota. <br />His design talents have also been tapped fortbe East Ravine Neigbborhood Pre- <br />DeSgnprojectin Cottage Grove.
