For the first violation within any three-year period, at least one-day suspension may be <br />imposed along with a fine of $500 in addition to any criminal penalty that may be <br />imposed. <br />2. For the second violation within any three-year period, at least 3 consecutive days' <br />suspension may be imposed along with a fine of $1,000 in addition to any criminal penalty <br />that may be imposed. <br />3. For the third violation within any three-year period, up to 10 consecutive days suspension <br />may be imposed along with a fine of $2,000 in addition to any criminal penalty that may <br />be imposed. <br />4. For the forth violation within a three-year period the license shall be revoked. <br /> <br />No suspension or revocation takes effect until the license or permit holder has been given an <br />opportunity for a hearing. (See section 2.06) <br /> <br />Imposition of a penalty or suspension by either the issuing authority or the commissioner does <br />not preclude imposition of an additional penalty or suspension by the other so long as the total <br />penalty or suspension does not exceed the stated maximum.
