<br />Effective: 7/27/88 <br />City ofCenterville Ord: #22A <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />ORDIANCE # 22 A <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISIDNG THE OFFICE OF ~ CLERK/ADMINISTRATOR. <br /> <br />ARTICLE I - GENERAL <br />11.01 - Ordinance # 22, adopted July 20, 1971 and amended October 11, 1978 is hereby <br />repealed. <br /> <br />11.02 - The offices of Clerk and Treasurer shall be combined into a new office entitled <br />"Clerk/Administrator" of the City of Centerville. The Clerk/Administrator" shall have <br />the duties and responsibilities set forth below. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 - DUTIES <br /> <br />20.01 -Direct the administration of the City affuirs as provided by City Council action, state, . <br />Coordinate with the City Council in the administration of City affairs. <br /> <br />20.02 - Perform all functions of Clerk and Treasurer imposed by Minnesota Statutes and/or City <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />20.03 - Coordinate and enforce all ordinances, regulations, and law enforcement policies of the <br />City Council and all laws of the State of Minnesota applicable within the City. <br /> <br />20.04 - Prepare an annual fiscal budget and capital improvement plan for submission to the City <br />Council Maintain financial guidelines for the City within the scope of the approved <br />budget and capital program. Submit monthly reports to the City Council of the financial <br />condition of the City's accounts. <br /> <br />20.05 - Administrator an account book/records in which shall be entered all money transactions <br />ofthe City, including dates, amounts and the personlbusiness from whom the money was <br />received or paid out to. Administer expenditure of funds only within the limits <br />established and approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />20.06 -Attend and participate in all City Council meetings. Attend, with discretion, or by <br />invitation other committee and commission meetings. <br /> <br />20.07 -Coordinate City programs and activities as authorized by the City Council which in the <br />opinion of the City Council qualifies the person for the position. <br /> <br />30.05 - Ability to coordinate development, to collect and analyze material for reporting, to <br />conduct and implement studies, procedures, operations, and organization. <br /> <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
