<br />City of Centerville <br />Planning & Zoning Commission <br />February 1,2005 <br /> <br />Ms. Stephan indicated she would ask for input from residents on the website. <br /> <br />The Commission asked for input at the next meeting from interested residents. <br /> <br />Chair Hanson said that Hugo is more restrictive. <br /> <br />Mr. Palzer suggested looking at where the snowmobiles are driving and then noted that <br />the City will not have a shoulder on Main Street and they will no longer be able to use the <br />Church property when it develops. He further commented that access to the lake would <br />be limited to lake owners and snowmobiles would have to go through neighborhoods to <br />get there. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wood said he thinks the City needs to consider commerce from the <br />snowmobile users and that is why he looked at allowing them on 20th Avenue and <br />Centerville Road. <br /> <br />2. Ordinances 1 - 6A <br /> <br />Commissioner Klennert Hunt indicated that effective July 1, 2005 it will be illegal to <br />place CRTs into the garbage and asked if language should be added to the Ordinance <br />during this change. <br /> <br />The Commission agreed. <br /> <br />Chair Hanson asked whether the language concerning wrapping garbage should be <br />amended. <br /> <br />Commissioner Klennert Hunt indicated that all garbage must be contained and said she <br />would check on the wording of the contract. <br /> <br />Commissioner Klennert Hunt asked whether this would be the place to add reguJations on <br />garbage enclosures. <br /> <br />The Commission discussed it and agreed to check Ordinance #4 to see if garbage <br />enclosures are covered there. <br /> <br />Commissioner Klennert Hunt indicated the maximum capacity should be changed to 96 <br />gallons. <br /> <br />The Commission asked Staff to look into whether it is appropriate to allow residents to <br />throwaway dead animals under 10 pounds. <br /> <br />Commissioner Klennert Hunt asked that Staff change in the title of the ordinance the <br />word water to waste matter of any kind. <br /> <br />Chair Hanson questioned the dollar amounts for insurance. <br /> <br />Page 5 of7 <br />
