Proposed Amendments to Ordinance #76 - Adoptinl! the Minnesota State Building <br />Code <br /> <br />Chair Hanson opened the public hearing at 6:34 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Palzer stated this amendment adopts the grading provisions contained in the 2002 <br />supplement to the 2000 International Building Code and adopts the floodproofing <br />regulations contained in Minnesota Rules, Chapter 1335. <br /> <br />Motion bv Commissioner Wilharber. seconded bv Commissioner Lakso. to close the <br />JJublic hearin!!. Ordinance #79 - Erosion & Sedimentation Ordinance (Tabled from Previous <br />Meeting) <br /> <br />Mr. Patzer stated the City does not currently have a map and requested Commission input <br />on obtaining a map identifying low, medium, and high risk zones. He felt there are issues to <br />be addressed including which activities should require a permit and in which areas permits <br />should be required. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wilharber asked ifFEMA would be able to provide assistance with the map <br />to give the City some direction regarding floodplain areas. <br /> <br />Page 2 of5 <br />
