<br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
<br />Sealed bids will be received by the City of
<br />CentElfVille, Minnesota in the City Hall at 1880
<br />Main St., Centerville, Minnesota 55038, until
<br />11:00 A.M., C.O.S.T., Wednesday, July 21,
<br />1999, at which time they will be publicly
<br />opened and read aloud for the 1umlshlng of all
<br />labor and materials and all else necessary for
<br />the following:

<br />1 EA 8-foot Diameter pressure
<br />Reducing Station
<br />EA 7.foot Diameter Metering Station
<br />EA Hydrant with fittings, valves,
<br />connections, restorations and
<br />correlated work
<br />Alternate Mill Road Water Main
<br />650 LF 8" PVG Water Main
<br />350 LF l' Copper Service
<br />11 EA Curb Stop and Corporation
<br />Drawings and specifications, proposal
<br />forms and contract documents may be seen at
<br />the office of the City Administrator, Centerville,
<br />MN and at the office of Bonestroo, Rosene,
<br />Anderlik & Associates, Inc., Consulting
<br />Engineers, 2335 W. Trunk Highway 36, St.
<br />Paul, MN 55113, (651) 636-4600.
<br />Each bid shall be accompanied by a bId-
<br />der's bond naming the City of Centerville as
<br />obligee, certified check payable to the City
<br />Administrator of the City of Centerville as oblig-
<br />ee, certified check payable to the City
<br />Administrator of the City of Centerville or a
<br />cash deposit equal to at least 5% of the
<br />amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to
<br />the City of Centerville in the event that the bid-
<br />der fails to enter into a contract.
<br />The City of Centerville reserves the right to
<br />retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders.
<br />for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days
<br />after the date and time set for the opening of
<br />bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of
<br />forty-five (45) days after the date and time set
<br />for the opening of bids.
<br />Payment for the work will be by cash or
<br />check.
<br />Contractors desiring a copy of the plans
<br />and specifications and proposal forms may
<br />obtain them from the office of Bonestroo,
<br />Rosene, Anderlik & AssociateS, Inc., upon pay-
<br />ment of a non~refund8ble fee of $30.00. See
<br />"Instructions to Bidders" for plan/specification
<br />lee policy.
<br />The City of Centerville reserves the right to
<br />reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities
<br />and informalities therein and further reserves
<br />the right to award the contract to the best inter-
<br />ests of the City of Centerville.
