<br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIOS
<br />Sealed bids will be received by the City of
<br />Centerville, Minnesota in the City Hall at 1880
<br />Main Street, until 11:0a A.M., G.D.S.T., on
<br />Tuesday, April 27, 1999, at which time they will
<br />be publicly opened and read aloud for the fur~
<br />nishing of all labor and materials and alt else
<br />necessary for the following:
<br />1999 Seal Coat Project
<br />18,000 GL Bituminous Material for
<br />Seal Coat
<br />850 TN FA-2 Seal Coat
<br />aggregate, Class C
<br />and correlated work and
<br />appurtenances.
<br />Plans and specifications, proposal forms
<br />and contract documents may be seen at the
<br />office of the City Clerk, Centerville, Minnesota,
<br />and at the office of Bonestroo, Rosene,
<br />Ander!ik & Associates, Inc., Consulting
<br />Engineers, 2335 W. Trunk Highway 36, St.
<br />Paul, MN 55113, (651) 636-4600. .
<br />Each bid shall be accompanied by a bId-
<br />der's bond naming the City of Centerville as
<br />obligee, certifjed check payable to the Clerk-of
<br />the City of Centerville or a cash deposit equal
<br />to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of
<br />the bid, which shall be forfeited to the City In
<br />the event that the bidder fails to enter into a
<br />contract.
<br />The City council reserves the right to retain
<br />lhe deposits of the three lowest bidders for a
<br />period not to exceed 45 days after the date
<br />and time set for the opening of bids. No bids
<br />may be withdrawn for a period of forty~five (45)
<br />days after the date and time set for the opening
<br />of bids.
<br />Payment for the work will be by cash or
<br />check.
<br />Contractors desiring a coPy of the plans
<br />and specifications and proposal forms may
<br />obtain them from the office of Bonestroo,
<br />Rosene, Anderl.lk & Associates, In~., upon pay-
<br />ment of a non-refundable fee of $25.00. See
<br />"Information to Bidders" for plan/specification
<br />fee policy.
<br />The City Councii reserves the right to reject
<br />any and all bids, to waive irregularities and
<br />informalities therein and further reserves the
<br />right to award the contract to the best interests
<br />of the City.
