<br />July 3, 2001 <br />Planning and Zoning Minutes <br /> <br />Mr. Brian Rawlings, 7069 Dupre Road, questioned how two (2) could be responsible for <br />the maintenance of Ojibway Drive. Mr. Rawlings also stated that two (2) different unit <br />styles are in the same association adding additional burdens on same. Mr. Rawlings <br />desired that the Commission recommend to Council that Ojibway Drive become a public <br />street. <br /> <br />Mr. Quigley stated that the market for single-family town homes was much been than <br />that of town homes. <br /> <br />Council Liaison Broussard Vickers questioned the Developers Agreement and enforcing <br />same. <br /> <br />Ms. Linda Witham, 7015 Dupre Road, stated that the City she previously lived in did not <br />allow private roads. <br /> <br />Mrs. Halstrom, 6960 Dupre Road, stated additional items that had not been completed <br />such as sodding near Voyager Court, common area inaccessibility to those who are <br />disabled, etc. Mrs. Halstrom also stated that primarily the models are completed and <br />other units remain uncompleted. Mrs. Halstrom addressed the improper planting of <br />screening trees. <br /> <br />Mr. Mark McLeil, 6961 Meadow Court, stated that he was concerned with the town <br />homes abutting areas zoned Single-Family Residential. <br /> <br />Mr. Bert Casper, 6979 Eagle Trail, stated that the City has some leverage that can be <br />utilized. Mr. Casper also stated that he desired that the issues regarding lighting and park <br />areas be addressed. <br /> <br />The Chair closed the public hearing at <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Accessory Structures (M-l District) <br /> <br />Lengthy discussion ensued regarding same and other community's requirements. <br /> <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Eagle Pass 2nd Addition <br /> <br />Motion bv Commissioner DeVine. seconded by Commissioner Kilian to reQuest <br />additional information from Le!!al Counsel in re!!ards to the City's ability to escrow <br />funds for uncompleted items and the ability to stop a particular builder from <br />buildin!!.
