We are now a fully sponsored event. OSI Physical Therapy has joined the team of sponsors. OSI <br />will fill in the last of our know needs by providing sports drink and a snack at the finish line. They <br />will also provide and man a canopy at the finish line. <br /> <br />2. Kevin Amundsen and I have been possing out flyers where we hope it wi/1 have the greatest impact. <br />We now have about 75 pre-registered runners and can expect some to walk-in on race day <br /> <br />3. Our course is now certified The start line, mile markers andfinish line are as we had planned <br /> <br />4. Tom Lee is still working the volunteers. We are counting on all of you. <br /> <br />Conclusion: I am finally optimistic that we are going to achieve our goal of host a first class 8K running <br />and walking event associated with Fete des Lacs <br /> <br />Update from Barb Leininger who certified the course: <br /> <br />Everything went welL Your start and finish are pretty much where you wanted them. They are marked in <br />white paint along the route, as are the miles I, 2, 3 and 4. I have attached the official course map. I am <br />mailing in the certificate application today and will forward the certificate to you as soon as I get it. Let me <br />know if you have any questions. <br /> <br />Included in your packet is a copy of the course map and the certificate. <br /> <br />Pedestrian & Bicvcle Ramus/Curb Cut Outs on CSAH 14 at Lakeland Circle & Peltier Lake Drive <br /> <br />From the summary of City Council Meeting Minutes of July 8, 2009: <br /> <br />At the request of Parks & Recreation, Council directed that a letter be sent to Anoka County requesting <br />pedestrian ramps in the curbs at Peltier Lake Drive and Lakeland Circle intersections. <br /> <br />Included in your packet is also correspondence regarding this issue from Mr. Wayne LeBlanc. <br />
