<br />Council discussed the matter and agreed that it is important to have cable at the facility as <br />it will serve as the disaster m3na.gement location for the area. Council directed Staff to <br />look into whether there would be any grants available for providing the cable services to <br />the facility either through disaster assistance funds or through the cable company. <br /> <br />6. Meals on Wheels <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated that Meals on Wheels has asked the City for a letter of support of <br />its efforts within the City and to assist with the orB"ni7.at1on's request for County support. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member , .a 11-0. seconded bv Council Member Lee.. to direct <br />StatT to send a letter to Meals on Wheels in suooort of its orol!l'8lDmine. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee invited everyone to attend the next meeting of the Police Governing <br />Board on January 9, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. for a tour of the new facility followed by the <br />meeting at 7:00 p.m. He also indicated that the new Police Chiefwill be sworn in at that <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar thanked the City Administrator for his efforts on behalf of the City <br />during the last year. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee and the other Members agreed and thanked the rest of the Staff as <br />well. <br /> <br />X.
