Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes 07-01-09 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, July 1, 2009 - 6:30 p.m. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville held the regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. Present: Vice-Chairperson Kevin Amundsen Committee Member Kevin Selander Committee Member Patrick Branch Committee Member Mark Haiden Committee Member Brian Peterson Absent: Chairperson Suzanne Seeley Council: City Council Liaison Tom Lee Staff: Staff Liaison Kim Stephan _____________________________________________________________________________________ I. CALL TO ORDER Roll Call Vice-Chairperson Amundsen called the July 1, 2009 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting to order at 6:38 p.m. II. SET AGENDA Vice-Chairperson Amundsen requested a discussion of the Vice-Chairperson position be added under Committee Business, as well as two items per request of Mr. Tedd Peterson, Public Works; a discussion of an additional trail cutout on Main Street across from Lakeland Circle, and a discussion of the player’s box next to the hockey rink at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park as a safety hazard. Motion was made by Committee Member Haiden, seconded by Committee Member Selander, to set the agenda with the above additions. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. III. APPEARANCES IV.
