Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> Meeting Minutes 07-01-09 <br /> <br />Buckthorn removal will be reviewed again in the fall. <br /> <br />Summer Programs ~ Music in the Park <br /> <br />Ms. Stephan created a flier for the Music in the Parks Program and distributed to local businesses <br />via email, it is on the web site and will be advertised on the City Sign. The committee scheduled a <br />BBQ at the July 14, 2009 event at Hidden Spring Park and would like to provide hot dogs, chips <br />and pop to the public. Ms. Stephan will pick up the supplies at Sam’s Club and coordinate picking <br />them up from City Hall with Committee Member Peterson. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Vice-Chairperson <br />Amundsen to recommend to City Council expending funds not to exceed $200 for supplies <br />associated with a July 14, 2009 Music in the Park BBQ for the public.All in favor. Motion <br /> <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />VII.
