<br />A Council Member in Centerville is paid $450 per month and the mayor is paid $525 per month <br />(the Mayor has additional responsibilities over and above that of a Council Member therefore their <br />compensation is slightly higher); there is no additional compensation for additional meetings, <br />liaisons, or worksessions. There will be no penalty for members missing up to 3 regular or special <br />council meetings per year; thereafter a missed meeting will result in a deduction from <br />compensation of $50.00 per meeting, unless excused by majority vote of the Council. <br /> <br />Neither the Mayor nor any Council Member has an office at City Hall; your home is your office. <br />You will need to be accessible to the public, all current Council Members have their home phone <br />numbers, addresses and email addresses on the City website.
