Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ACTION ITEMS <br /> <br />The Oath of Office <br />Mr. John Buckbee II was sworn in to serve as a Planning and Zoning Commission Member. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />Shoreland Ordinance Review <br />Ms. Gaustad briefed the Commission on the status of the shoreland ordinance. <br />The Metropolitan Council requested Centerville adopt a shoreland ordinance to accompany the <br />approved City's comprehensive plan. Also, the City Council plans to meet with the City Engineer <br />and a DNR Representative to discuss the ordinance requirements, particularly the construction <br />distance from public water ways. Ms. Gaustad reported the city will determine a construction <br />restricted distance from Rice Creek, Centerville Lake and Peltier Lake. Ms. Gaustad noted the <br />Commission will receive additional information to become familiar with the Metropolitan Councils <br />and Rice Creek Watershed Districts (RCWD) requirements. <br />
