I am hereby submitting an application for the position. With <br />my past experience in both City government and the civilian fIeld, I feel I could bring <br />much valuable experience to the city. <br /> <br />My experience is listed below: <br />Resident ofCenterville since 1967 <br />Member of the Centerville Planning & Zoning 1973 -1980 and again 2001-200.8''1' <br />City Council Member 1980-1995 <br />Mayor 1995-2000 <br />Member of the Centennial Fire Steering Committee as Mayor. As a council member <br />worked with the three surrounding communities. (Circle Pines, Lexington & Lino Lakes) <br />in forming the Centennial Fire District. (Lexington decided not to go along with the Fire <br />District) <br />Member of the Circle Pines - Lexington Police Commission. During this time, I was <br />involved in getting Centerville to be a partner with Circle Pines and Lexington to then <br />form the Centennial Lakes Police Department. <br />Member of the Centennial Lakes Police Commission <br />Member of Centerville Lions Club 1998-Present <br />Treasurer of the Centerville Lions 2002-2007 & again 2009 to the present <br />Member ofSt Genevieve Catholic Church 1967-Present <br />Member of the Administrative Council St Genevieve's 2001-2003 <br />One of two Trustee's for St Genevieve's 2003 to the present <br />Project Coordinator for St Genevieve's Parish Community Center, this was a two and <br />one-half million dollar project. <br />Civilian / Military Experience 1963 - 2000. During my last 15 years with the Military, I <br />was on Active Duty as a Property Book Officer, servicing the entire state ofMN; I had <br />seven full time employees working under me.
