The entryway is about 7’ x 7’ and the roof extends across the top of <br />the front windows. <br /> <br />The Commission discussed whether the Code should be changed to allow metal roofs, as <br />there are high quality materials available now that might be acceptable. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wood arrived during the discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Pangell, seconded by Commissioner Mosher, to schedule a <br />public hearing to consider the variance at 6:30 p.m. on August 4, 2009. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner Lange, to direct staff to <br />research metal roof options and get some examples from other communities that <br />allow them.
