<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />October 21, 2009 <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held a special meeting on October <br />21, 2009, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />Mayor Mary Capra <br /> Council Member Linda Broussard Vickers <br /> Council Member Jeff Paar <br /> Council Member Ben Fehrenbacher <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br />None <br /> <br />STAFF: <br /> City Administrator Dallas Larson <br /> City Engineer Mark Statz <br /> Finance Director Mike Jeziorski <br /> <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Capra called the October 21, 2009, City Council Meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. <br /> <br />II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Paar, <br />to approve the September 21, 2009, City Council Meeting Agenda as posted. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />III. BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. The Council conducted interviews of applicants for the vacant Council member seat. <br />The following persons were interviewed: <br /> <br />Steve Friemuth, Jon Grahek, D. Love, Neale Rawlings, Tom Wilharber, & Eric Larson <br /> <br />At the conclusion of the interviews, discussion was held. Consensus of the Council was <br />that six very good choices were presented, but that the edge would be to the current <br />Planning and Zoning Chairperson, D. Love, as he would have the greatest familiarity with <br />current issues and codes. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Ben Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Paar, <br /> <br />to appoint D. Love to fill the remainder of the term of the vacant council seat.. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />
