Planning and Zoning Meeting January 7, 1997 <br /> ,Special Use Permit - Mr. Hank Moss requested a special use permit for advertising <br /> benches on the corners of Main Street and 20th and Main Street and Peterson Trail. Welk <br /> asked what purpose does this serve since there is no bus stop in either area. Vermeulen <br /> suggested placing a bench like this in the park area. Tourville said "For snow <br /> maintenance, traffic, the land is not level and there is no purpose, I am not in favor of <br /> granting a Special Use Permit ". <br /> MOTION by Welk, seconded by LaMotte to deny the special use permit at the locations <br /> requested. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 1997 Chairperson Position - Welk recommended Dan Tourville as Chairperson. <br /> Vermeulen recommended Kathy Welk as Vice - Chairperson.
