I will be entering into a contract with Edgar Inglis and <br /> Associates of Columbia, SC to recover Federal Excise taxes <br /> paid by the City on gasoline purchases for the last three <br /> years. The City should be due a refund of approximately <br /> $1000. <br /> 2. Accounting software from Banyon Data Systems has been ordered <br /> along with a computer with enough memory and capacity to <br /> handle the software. (These items were both budgeted for) <br /> 3. Building permit is ready for Automotive Driveline so they can <br /> begin construction in the industrial park. <br /> 0;iound a. r4 j <br /> 4. Strategic planning meeting reminder. Scheduled for 7:30W <br /> Saturday morning on March 8, 1997. <br /> 5. New receptionist is working well. Scheduled for two days one <br /> week, three the next week. Ry- chel's six month probation is <br /> complete on Friday, February 28. Ry -chel is an asset to the <br /> City and is progressing well in her position. I recommend <br /> that Ry -chel be placed on permanent full -time status. <br /> 6. Union contract is in final draft form and will be available <br /> for the next council packet. <br /> 7.
