MEMO
DATE : January 21, 1999
TO : Honorable Mayor and Council
FROM : Jim March
RE : Administrator's Report
******************** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * **
Included in your packet is a letter from Paul Palzer in regards to some issues with the present
public works facility.
At the last workshop, it was mentioned that Council would like to tour some different items in the
City. This date has been set for February 18, 1999 from 9:00 to 12:00. I received a phone call
from Dick Hubers (owner of Eagle Trucking) he indicated his building is for sale and would like
the Council to consider his property as a potential public works site. An itinerary for the tour will
be produced and distributed in the near future as we confirm the date and times with a couple of
property owners.
Since the last workshop, I felt it may be helpful for the new Council to know about some of the
major documents, binders and resources that are available for review at City Hall. These
documents can provide a lot of background information on many different projects.
1) City Comprehensive Plan
2) Surface Water Management Plan
3) Proposed shoreland ordinance
4) Comprehensive water plan
5) Aerial photos of the City
6) Plats for all developments
7) Senior housing market study
