Goetz Landscape
& Irrigation, Inc. Minnesota Nursery & Landscape
1721 Heritage Street Association Member
Centerville, MIN 55038
Voice: (612) 426 -2136
Fax: (612) 426 -2451
SPECIAL USE PERMIT
January 22, 1999
1. AMERICAN DISABILITY ACT (ADA) ACCESSABLE- Our retail area during the
1999 season will be ADA accessible following Paul Palzer's recommendations.
Parking will be clearly marked with handicap signage and the appropriate size.
A six foot paver walkway from the parking area to the point of sale will be
installed. Depending upon weather conditions, timeframe for this work is April
15 — May 1, 1999.
2. RESTROOMS — Restrooms will not be provided for retail customers or to the
public.
3. MOBILE OFFICE — Our mobile office trailer will be delivered on March 1, 1999.
It will be used by Goetz Landscape and Irrigation personnel during the 1999
season and also during the construction period of the garden center. We will be
removing the mobile office from property by February 29, 2000.
4. GARDEN CENTER CONSTRUCTION — Construction will begin September 7,
1999. Completion of the garden center is targeted for March 31, 2000. Planned
opening of the completed garden center will be between April — April 15,
2000.
5. GREENHOUSE CONSTRUCTION — Construction of the first greenhouse will
commence the first week of March 1999 (depending on weather). This
greenhouse will serve a dual purpose: one as a retail outlet for our garden
center, and secondly, for displaying indoor landscape and garden products. The
construction of two additional greenhouses will begin within the next few years.
The additional greenhouses will be used primarily for retail plant production for
the garden center and landscape projects. The ability to grow our own plants
will give Goetz Landscape and Irrigation a cost- effective product in the market
place, resulting in savings to our customers.
6. DRAINAGE PLANS — To be completed with the building plans.
Professional Installation • Outstanding Service
