Motion carried unanimously. <br /> League of Minnesota Cities Annual Conference <br /> Mayor Wilharber asked if any members were interested in attending the League <br /> of Minnesota Cities Annual Conference. Mr. March stated he would need to <br /> know as soon as possible for registration and hotel scheduling. Council Member <br /> Nelson stated she may be interested in attending this event and would contact the <br /> City. Mayor Wilharber stated he would be contacting staff as well. <br /> Cable Resolution <br /> Mr. March stated this Resolution requests the broadcasting of the County <br /> Commissioner meetings throughout Anoka County to show their functioning. <br /> Mayor Wilharber asked if this broadcasting was a concern. Council Member <br /> Sweeney stated this has been a concern in the past and the resolution calls the <br /> Commissioners to broadcast their meetings. <br /> Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Sweeney <br /> to adopt Cable Resolution 00 -06 as stated. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Center Villa — Letter of Credit Reduction and Construction Access Status Update <br /> Mr. March stated a letter was enclosed within the packet from Mr. Peterson <br /> reviewing what remains on the Center Villa project, Mr. Peterson stated the letter <br /> of credit could be reduced to $187,000 while still covering the final phases of the <br /> project. <br /> Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Sweeney <br /> to approve the Letter of Credit Reduction. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Variance for LaMotte Store Front Porch <br /> Mr. March gave an overview of the variance request for a proposed front porch <br /> addition to the LaMotte Store located at 1695 Main Street. He stated a public <br /> hearing was held at the Planning Commission level and all comments were <br /> favorable. <br /> Ray Devine of 1695 Main Street stated this request is before the Council to allow <br /> the owners to redefine the front of the building. He stated the request would be an <br /> improvement to the building. <br /> 6 <br />
