Mr. William Jostlin ( 2054 - Wi}tow - Circle) stated if property 'villains commercial <br /> he will not stay in Centerville. <br /> Ms. Debra Kopps ( 205 - 5 Willow Circle) questioned if the property is dense and <br /> without adequate parking. Alternate Chair Ms. Broussard Vickers replied that the <br /> pubic hearing is to rezone property. Ms Kopps Centerville doesn'tturminto <br /> a Forest Lake, as it pertains to the bright lights and commercial along the main strip. <br /> Councihnt tuber Nelson explained that she reeeivetttwo -mails in regards to the rezone <br /> request, one from Mary Jo Helmbrecht and another from Wayne LeBlanc. Alternate <br /> ChairMs. Broussard Vickers uuted receipts ofthe letters. <br /> Motion by Mr. Hanson, seconded by Mr. Buckbee to close the public hearing. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> III APPEARANCES <br /> A. Gerald Rehbein Torrens <br /> Mr. Rehbein asked the Commission to approve the Torrens request, in order that the bank <br /> owner can continue with the on the property. Mr. Greg (County <br /> Bank) stated that he is looking forward to working with and moving into Centerville. The <br /> location has been appioved by BankersStateChatter and the purchase <br /> be complete upon the approval of the land acquisition. Ms. Gaustad explained that Mr. <br /> Rehbein requested to subdivide a portiorr ofhispropertyin order to close the land deal <br /> with the proposed bank agent. The parcel in question, is located on the north corner of <br /> Main Street and the proposed2i" Avenue_ Mr. Hanson.noted the locations the <br /> exception on the map piuvided: Ms_ Gaastad ieconuuended the Torrensiequestcomply <br /> with the lot split procedure. Therefore, holding a public hearing and notifying adjoining <br /> propertyarthe Council - meeting of April 28 1 999 meeting. Ms Gaustad <br /> suggested that the Planning Commission express their interest in regards to the proposed <br /> Toil ens. Alternate Chair : - Vickers commented that the meets with rne <br /> minimal commercial lot size and it is within the zoning regulations. Mr. Owens said he <br /> was anticipating closing on the property and - moving forward on the project. <br /> The Commission did not foresee any problems with the Torrens request. <br /> IV ACTION ITEMS <br /> A. Action Rezoneitequest - PUB - Mr. Gerald Rehbein <br /> Alternate Chair Ms. Broussard Vickers commented that the proposal is keeping within the <br /> comprehensive plan, the houses wilt be built according - the R5 house regulations. A <br /> particular concern regarding the drainage and wetlands was noted and a suggestion to <br /> Council asking the grading and examined to ensure compliance priorto <br />
