The City the excess norneeded fordrainnge <br /> and /or utility purposes. The document was faxed to the City Attorney for his review. Mr. <br /> Peterson (City Engineer) and Mr. Hoeft (City Attorney) supported the release - of easement and <br /> noted it was more of a housekeeping issue. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Sweeney, seconded by Brenner to approve the partial <br /> release of easement for the Lloyd Drillings property. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Rezone request for properly east of Glen Rehbein) <br /> Ms. Gaustad reported that the property owner submitted a request to table this issue for two - <br /> four weeks because of new business - hopeful. Mr. "Rehbeirrsigued a 60 -day land use waiverform. <br /> Mr. Hoeft suggested the Council to table the issue until a designated date and readdress the issue <br /> at a later date. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Sweeney seconded Brenner to table thrrezone <br /> request until the Wednesday. Motion carried unanimously, <br /> Re request for prone at 1764 MairrSt tRuzeriKolsted) <br /> Ms. Gaustad explained the applicant submitted a request to rezone the above - mentioned property. <br /> The day of the scheduled public the Plamzing Commission meeting - the applicant <br /> rescinded the request. The 60 -day land use law states that if a community does not take action on <br /> the request within 60 -days the property automatically is rezoned - to the requested znneing district, <br /> Therefore, Ms. Gaustad suggested, as a formality that the Council deny the rezone request. <br /> Motion by Council member Nelson seoandeztby CaunciimemberSweenev to denythe rezone <br /> request for 1764 Main Street Motion carried unanimousl <br /> Newsletter <br /> Ms. Gaustad addressed the preliminary newsletter and noted that the due date for articles will be <br /> April 19, 1999.
