<br /> FLOOD PLAIN ORDINANCE
<br /> It is the purpose of this ordinance to promote the public health,
<br /> safety, and general welfare and to minimize those losses
<br /> described in Section 1.21 by provisions contained herein. The
<br /> ordinance regulates statutory authorization, findings of fact,
<br /> purpose, lands to which the ordinance applies, establishment of
<br /> official zoning maps, regulatory flood protection elevation,
<br /> interpretation, abrogation and greater restrictions, warning and
<br /> disclaimer of liability, severability, definitions, accessory use
<br /> or structure, basement, conditional use, equal degree of
<br /> encroachment, flood, flood frequency, flood fringe, flood plain,
<br /> flood- proofing, floodway, obstruction, principal use or
<br /> structure, reach, regional flood, regulatory flood protection
<br /> elevation, structure, variance, districts, compliance, permitted
<br /> uses, standards for floodway permitted uses, conditional uses,
<br /> standards for floodway conditional uses, flood fringe permitted
<br /> uses, standards for flood fringe permitted uses, flood fringe
<br /> conditional uses, standards for flood fringe conditional uses,
<br /> storage of materials and equipment in flood fringe, standards for
<br /> all flood fringe uses, subdivision review criteria, removal of
<br /> special flood hazard area designation in subdivisions, public
<br /> utilities, on site sewage treatment and water supply systems,
<br /> manufactured homes and manufactured home parks and placement of
<br /> travel trailers and travel vehicles, zoning administrator, permit
<br /> requirements, board of adjustment, conditional uses,
<br /> nonconforming uses, penalties for violation, and amendments.
<br /> A printed copy of this amendment in its entirety is available for
<br /> inspection by any person at the office of the City Clerk.
<br /> This summary adopted this 28th day of December, 1988.
