MEMO <br /> DATE : May 7, 1999 <br /> TO : Honorable Mayor and Council <br /> FROM : Jim March <br /> RE : Amendment to Centerville Floodplain Ordinance <br /> Included in your packet is a copy of the current floodplain ordinance. Also included is a copy of <br /> a letter that was received from the DNR specifying the amendments that are required to our <br /> ordinance. Council needs to approve the amendments in the letter as specified by the DNR. The <br /> DNR will automatically approve the amendments and send the information to FEMA. The <br /> amendments are required to be able to continue as a participant in the national flood insurance <br /> program. <br />
