!! <br /> MEMO <br /> DATE : May 1, 1998 <br /> TO Planning Commission <br /> FROM : Jim March <br /> RE Appearance of John Snyder (Ryan Construction) for <br /> Terminal Transport <br /> *******************+************** ** * * ** * * * ** ** *** * * * * * * * * ** * ** ** <br /> A sketch plan will be presented on the proposed building for <br /> Terminal Transport. This company has purchased 6.75 acres in the <br /> Industrial Park. This company is currently located in St. Paul. <br /> They are proposing a 10,500 square foot building that would house <br /> their administration, dispatch and repair facilities. The <br /> company does over the road transporting. <br /> Mr. John Snyder from Ryan Construction will be present to display <br /> their sketch plan. A public hearing will be scheduled for the <br /> June Planning Commission meeting. The company has approximately <br /> 12 employees that would be moved to this new building. They also <br /> employ approximately 45 truck drivers of their own and contract <br /> with approximately 45 independents. They are not proposing any <br /> outside storage of materials and will not be conducting any <br /> warehousing. The firm employs two to three mechanics who would <br /> be conducting routine maintenance items on their own trucks. <br /> Ryan Construction is appearing to gather comments prior to <br /> completing plans for the June public hearing. <br />
