72 0.04 Discharge of Dangerous Weapons or Dangerous <br /> Instruments No person shall discharge any dangerous weapon <br /> or dangerous instrument within the City, except at a duly <br /> authorized range <br /> subjectto the exceptionprovision in Secti supervised, <br /> Section 720.06 hereof. <br /> 720.05 Defense. Nothing in this section shall be construed <br /> to prohibit the discharging of any dangerous weapon or <br /> dangerous instrument wh4tn done in the lawful defense <br /> person, property, family or the necessary enforcement of the <br /> law. <br /> 720.06 Exception. The provisions of this section shall not <br /> apply to any police or peace officer, sheriff or any officer <br /> of the United States, the State of Minnesota, or any of its <br /> counties who may discharge a fire an -n or gun in the City in <br /> the course and scope of their duties. <br /> 720.07 Penalty. A violation of any provision of this <br /> section shall be a misdezeanor. <br /> SECTION 2.
