Motion carried. <br /> K e11y's Korner Customer Appreciation Day October 10. 1998 <br /> Mr. Bill Bisek owner of Kelly's Korner requested a noise permit from the Council to hold a pig <br /> roast on October 10, 1998 from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. Last year notice of the event was sent to <br /> the surrounding property owners and the city nor the police department received any complaints <br /> in regards to the 1997 event. Mr. Bisek requested the Council authorize a time change from 6:00 <br /> - 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 - 12:00 p.m. <br /> Councilmember Brenner stated the 1997 event was nice and favored extending the hour from <br /> 10:00 to 11:00 p.m. Councilmember Brenner added Councilmember Powers was opposed to <br /> extending the hours past 10:00 p.m. <br /> Councilmember Brenner moved and it was seconded to allow the Rock'n Hollywood's to perform <br /> from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m, on October 10, 1998- contingent that a letter is sent out to the <br /> surrounding property owners. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Contract with Dean Johnson <br /> Mr. March reported a joint meeting between the Committee and Dean Johnson is scheduled for <br /> 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 1998. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the city's growth and <br /> future development. Mr. March added the City is in need of zoning ordinance revisions. Mr. <br /> Johnson proposed to amend ordinance four and eight and estimated the entire process will take <br /> nine to twelve months, if there are no major controversies or external issues affecting the project. <br /> Mr. March commented the City is eligible for matching money contributions from the <br /> Metropolitan Council. Mr. March planned to use in kind labor to match funds. <br /> Councilmember Buckbee moved and it was seconded to authorize the City of Centerville to <br /> contract withconsulting Resource Strategies and the cost not to exceed $7945.00 for labor, and if <br /> expenses exceed the stated fees that Council is notified.
