MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: August 27, 1998 <br /> TO: Chair Kathy Welk and the Planning Commission <br /> FROM: Ry -Chel Gaustad, City Clerk <br /> RE: Phippen Variance Request <br /> The Phippen family requested a variance to construct a shed within the 75" shoreland set back <br /> requirement. The Planning Commission received a letter from the Saint Paul Water Utility <br /> indicating the proposed building site may be on its property. The Planning Commission tabled the <br /> issue until further information was gathered regarding the property owner. The City Attorney <br /> suggested the Phippen's provide a survey or proof the proposed structure is located on their <br /> property. <br />
