CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> MEETING <br /> SEPTEMBER 1, 1998 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of <br /> Centerville held its regularly scheduled meeting at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> PRESENT: Chairwoman Kathy Welk <br /> Commission Members: <br /> Al LaMotte <br /> Linda Broussard - Vickers <br /> ABSENT: Commission member John Buckbee <br /> STAFF /CONSULTANTS: Jim March, City Administrator <br /> Ry -Chel Gaustad, City Clerk <br /> Tom Peterson, Consulting Engineer <br /> *********************************************** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** <br /> OPENING <br /> Roll Call <br /> PUBLIC HEARING (S) <br /> Preliminary Plat Consideration for Mound Trail (Carl Buechler <br /> Mr. Carl Buechler was present to discuss the proposed Buechler Estates preliminary plat and to <br /> request the Commissions approval. He also planned to independently finance the utilities and to <br /> pay park funds in place of park dedicated property. <br /> Ms. Peterson noted the city plans to install utilities along the southeast property boundaries and he <br /> suggested the developer provide a 20 -foot wide utility easement along the sanitary sewer, east of <br /> the plat. A 20 -foot easement should be provided for the entire length of the easement, not a 10- <br /> foot easement. The easement will allow the city to maintenance and repair the lines. He also <br /> commented a tree may need to be removed to install the proposed utilities. <br /> Mr. Joe Holiday (1295 Mound Trail) noted the willow tree is located on his property and felt no <br /> concern to remove the tree. <br /> Ms. Cathy Holiday (1295 Mound Trail) voiced concern pertaining to the developer ensuring the <br /> 1 <br />
