No action <br /> needed. <br /> Center Villa (Lake Area Utilities - 6994 20th Avenue) - Mr. Willie Lessard <br /> Mr. Willie Lessard presented a preliminary plat proposal for the Center Villa <br /> Development. Mr. Lessard acknowledged that a few trees would be lost in extending the <br /> sidewalk to Brian Drive. The issue of park dedication fees was also discussed. Mr. <br /> March presented a hand -out of a survey on park dedication fees which was conducted by <br /> the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities. Motion was made by Dale Larson to <br /> recommend that the City Council accept $900 per lot or 10% of the value of the raw land, <br /> whichever is higher, as park dedication fees for the Center Villa Development. Motion <br /> seconded by Steve Brown. Motion carried unanimously. Dale Larson noted that the Park <br /> and Recreation Committee should consider recommending to the City Council an increase <br /> in the per lot fee for park dedication as per park dedication survey. <br /> Buechler Estates (Mound Trail Develonment) Mr Carl Buechler <br /> The issue of park dedication fees was discussed. Mr. March noted that in all past cases <br /> the fee per lot has always exceeded the value of the land. Motion made by Dale Larson to <br /> ask Chairperson Michael Navin to represent the Park and Recreation Committee at the <br /> October 14, 1998 City Council meeting and submit a recommendation concerning the park <br /> dedication fees. Motion seconded by Steve Brown. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> LaMotte Park Winter Schedule <br /> Applicants are needed for the warming house for January and February. Also discussed <br /> possible concessions or vending at the hockey rink.
