MEMO <br /> DATE : July 23, 1999 <br /> TO : Honorable Mayor and Council <br /> FROM : Jim March <br /> RE : Center Villa <br /> **************************** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** <br /> Willie Lessard is expected to be in attendance to request Council to assign the developer's <br /> agreement to Land Holdings Group for the development to be known as Center Villa. Mr. <br /> Lessard has indicated that Land Holdings Group is interested in purchasing the development from <br /> him. All of the terms negotiated with Mr. Lessard included in the developer's agreement would <br /> have to be accepted by Land Holdings Group. I will be in contact with City Attorney Jim Hoeft <br /> to verify the legal manner for performing this transaction. <br /> I have spoke to a representative (Jim Boo) from Land Holdings Group. He indicated that they <br /> would hie to start this development as soon as possible. Mr. Boo indicated that they already had <br /> six lots presold in this development. <br />
