MEMO
DATE : August 20, 1999
TO : Honorable Mayor and Council
FROM : Jim March
RE : Center Villa Developer's Agreement/Building Permit Requests
******************************** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * **
Mr. Jeff Bock (Land Holdings Group) will be in attendance at the Council meeting. Mr. Bock is
purchasing the proposed Center Villa subdivision from Mr. Willie Lessard. The Developer's
Agreement will be approved to be executed with Land Holdings Group at the Council meeting.
The developer is requesting permission to pull building permits for Lots 1 and 2, Block One and
Lots 1 and 20, Block 2. The Fire Chief will be asked if he considers Brian Drive and Eagle Trail
to be considered adequate fire roads for access to these lots.
The developer would like to start the streets and utilities as soon as possible. The attached
diagram shows the lots the developer is requesting to be able to have permission to build homes
on as the development progresses. The Developer's Agreement states that only one lot can be
built upon until the base course of asphalt is installed in the subdivision. The developer and
engineer can discuss the feasibility of installing utilities and project timelines at the Council
meeting.
