MEMO <br /> DATE : September 3, 1999 <br /> TO : Honorable Mayor and Council <br /> FROM : Jim March <br /> RE : 2000 Budget Preliminary Levy Resolution <br /> As discussed at our budget meeting on August 31, the City is required to certify our initial levy <br /> amount to the County by September 15th. I will be contacting the County next week to finalize <br /> our numbers. I will present a resolution to adopt our initial levy at the meeting. The motion at <br /> the budget meeting was to certify an amount to keep our tax rate at .48862. <br />
