G. Safety Equipment <br /> Each collection vehicle shall have a fire extinguisher (CO2 type) and proper <br /> backup alarms approved by the CITY. <br /> 21. PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. Responsibility <br /> i) There shall be no limitation on the size of the hauler's collection <br /> Crew, so long as they are sufficient to fulfill the requirements of the <br /> Contract. <br /> ii) Each collection crew shall adhere to all applicable Ordinances of the <br /> CITY and all of those rules, regulations, and conditions for refuse <br /> collection as established by the CITY. <br /> B. Driver <br /> i) The driver must have a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) <br /> appropriate for the type of vehicle driven. <br /> ii) The driver must adhere to all traffic laws. <br /> C. Collector <br /> i) The driver and collector (s) shall at all times have a courteous <br /> attitude toward the general public. <br /> ii) The driver and collector (s) shall be of sound character, competent, <br /> and sober and free of controlled substances throughout the entire <br /> work day. <br /> iii) The driver and collector (s) shall have the ability to remember the <br /> order of collection and location of all containers on the assigned routes. <br /> iv) The driver and collector (s) shall make a concerted effort to have at <br /> all times a presentable appearance. <br /> v.) The collector (s) on each crew shall be physically able to perform <br /> their duties and at least eighteen (18) years old. <br /> vi.) The collector (s) shall perform their work in a neat and quiet manner and <br /> clean up all refuse, yard waste, or recyclables spilled in collection under <br /> any circumstances <br /> 14 <br />
