Mr. Bruce Malec (Division Manager) is planning to appear before Council to <br /> discuss this proposed contract. The current contract with Waste Management expires on October <br /> 1, 1999. Waste Management has indicated that they will continue to provide service to the City <br /> under the current contract while this extension is being discussed. If Council is unable to reach a <br /> decision at the next meeting, a contract extension should be signed with Waste Management for a <br /> specified period of time prior to October 1, 1999. <br />
