9. CITY -WIDE CELEBRATION COLLECTION SERVICE. When the City -Wide Celebration falls on a Friday of regular pick up CONTRACTOR agrees to provide regular weekly collection service on the Saturday following the Celebration. CONTRACTOR will require 30 -day advance notice of the date of the Celebration. Normal service will resume the following week. 10. HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTES. CONTRACTOR shall answer questions regarding household hazardous waste disposal programs for all residents. Household hazardous wastes cannot knowingly be collected by CONTRACTOR during regular collection service. 11. SERVICE SCHEDULE. A. Hours CONTRACTOR shall perform all collection services between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., on Monday through Friday, except when an emergency shall exist, at which item CONTRACTOR shall notify the CITY of such emergency. CONTRACTOR may perform collection services on Saturday when a holiday falls on a weekday. B. Collection Days CONTRACTOR shall provide day- certain collection unless otherwise agreed to by the parties hereto. Collection services will be on Monday through Friday. i). CONTRACTOR may request a change in the day of pick- up by requesting such change in writing to the CITY at least thirty (30) days from the proposed date the requested change is to take effect. A change shall be effected only upon authorization from the CITY and fourteen -day notice to the resident. ii). CONTRACTOR may request a change in the route schedule by requesting such change in writing to the CITY at least thirty (30) days from the proposed date the requested change is to take effect. A route change shall be effected only upon authorization from the CITY. . C. Holidays CONTRACTOR will observe all legal holidays described (see Appendix C) hereto, on which their offices and operations will be closed. When holidays fall on a weekday, the collection for each day of that week after the holiday shall be made one (1) working day later. 8
