27. HEALTH REGULATIONS and ORDINANCES <br /> The CONTRACTOR shall acquaint itself with all pertinent CITY Ordinances and shall <br /> comply with all health regulations and Ordinances of the CITY and the State of <br /> Minnesota in effect at this time or hereafter adopted. <br /> 28. GOVERNING LAW <br /> This contract is governed in all respects by the laws of the State of Minnesota, and all <br /> obligations are enforceable in accordance therewith; and CONTRACTOR where <br /> required, must obtain all licenses or permits to transact a refuse collection business in the <br /> CITY. <br /> 29. NOTICE. <br /> Except as otherwise herein provided, all notices required to be served by either party on <br /> the other shall be in writing and forwarded by certified mail to the principal office of the <br /> party to which notice is given, as follows; <br /> To the CTTY: <br /> City of Centerville <br /> 1880 Main Street <br /> Centerville, MN 55038 <br /> To the CONTRACTOR: <br /> Waste Management <br /> 10050 Naples St NE <br /> Blaine, MN 55449 <br /> All such notices shall be effective when received. <br /> 30. SEVERABILITY. <br /> All parts and provisions of this Contract are severable. If any part or provision shall be <br /> held invalid, the remainder of this Contract shall remain in effect. <br /> 31. DISPUTES. <br /> Any disputes or controversies arising out of the interpretation of the provisions of this <br /> Contract shall be submitted to arbitration in accordance with provisions of Paragraph 29 <br /> of this Contract. However, if the CITY determines a irrevocable breach of Contract, this <br /> Contract will be considered void and CONTRACTOR will be given 30 days notice of <br /> service termination. <br /> 16 <br />
