r BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS JAN 2 2 1999
Michael Harris, President • Stephen Haselmann, Vice President
Commissioners: Michael Arcand • Jay Benanav • Kevin Kittridge • Jim Reiter
January 20, 1999
Mr. Jim March
City Administrator
City of Centerville
1880 Main Street
Centerville, Minnesota 55038
Dear Mr. March:
The Board of Water Commissioners and the City of Saint Paul recently declared certain Board
owned real properties in the City of Centerville to be surplus. The Board desires to sell these
properties in the near future.
The Board's policy on land disposal specifies that local governmental units in which the property
resides be given first opportunity to purchase surplus property; first the City or Township, followed
by the County, if the City or Township declines.
In keeping with this policy, please consider this correspondence an invitation to purchase any or all
of the surplus property located in the City of Centerville, as shown on the attachments.
The favor of a written response by February 26, 1999 would be very much appreciated. I'll follow
up with a phone call next week to informally discuss the City's preliminary in intentions concerning
the properties.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
Sincerely
•
Ate- jr,LL
William L.
