NOT APPROVED <br /> CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> OCTOBER 13,1999 <br /> 6:00 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of Centerville held their regularly <br /> scheduled meeting on October 13, 1999, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> PRESENT: Mayor Tom Wilharber <br /> Council Member Mari Nelson <br /> Council Member Dick Travis <br /> Council Member Terry Sweeney <br /> Council Member Linda Brousarrd Vickers <br /> STAFF: City Administrator, Jim March <br /> City Clerk, Diane Ward <br /> City Attorney, Jim Hoeft <br /> City Engineer, Tom Peterson <br /> L CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Wilharber called the October 13, 1999 City Council meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The mayor introduced Diane Ward, the new city clerk. <br /> II. PUBLIC HEARING (S) <br /> III. APPEARANCES /AWARDS <br /> Metropolitan Mosquito Control District <br /> Representatives from the Metropolitan Mosquito Control District, Mike McClain and Jim <br /> Spicer appeared before Council to recap activities in and around the Centerville area. <br /> The representatives also answered questions on citizen involvement and their operations <br /> in the spraying of the area. He also addressed concerns in the chemicals used, and <br /> consideration that is given to the residents in the area during the spraying operations. <br /> Page 1 of 7 <br />
