^� °tervitte <br /> �,., 1880 Matti Street • Centerville, MN 55038 <br /> Established 1857 (651) 429 -3232 • fax (651) 429 -8629 <br /> CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99 -15 <br /> APPROVING TITLE AND SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 24 <br /> AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING REGULATIONS FOR CONFINEMENT, LICENSING AND <br /> CARE RELATING TO ANIMAL CONTROL; AND REPEALING ORDINANCES NOS. 24 -A <br /> AND 24 -B RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Centerville has adopted Ordinance No. 24, An <br /> Ordinance Prescribing Regulations For Confinement, Licensing And Care Relating To Animal Control; <br /> And Repealing Ordinances Nos. 24 -A And 24 -B Relating To The Same Subject; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council by four -fifths of its members, does find that the attached Title and <br /> Summary of the ordinance does clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance and <br /> the form of publication is approved. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this action is given as authorized by the <br /> Minnesota State Statutes 412.191, Subd. 4. The form that shall be published is stated below: <br /> TITLE AND SUMMARY <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 24 <br /> AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING REGULATIONS FOR CONFINEMENT, LICENCING AND <br /> CARE RELATING TO ANIMAL CONTROL; AND REPEALING ORDINANCES NOS. 24 -A <br /> AND 24 -B RELATING <br /> TO THE SAME SUBJECT <br /> 1. The ordinance establishes definitions that will be used in the future to describe aspects of the animal <br /> control effort in the City. <br /> 2. The ordinance establishes restrictions and requirements that will apply to the residents who have <br /> animals within the City. <br /> 3. The ordinance establishes requirements for rabies control. <br /> 4. The ordinance ascertains the prohibition of non - domestic animals and requirements for farm animals <br /> within the City. <br />
