Fairbrother presented a letter that included a thank you, a brief follow up of Design Team <br /> Activities, and an invitation to attend the June 12 follow up meeting. Penny Simonson and <br /> Lucy Thompson of the Minnesota Design Team will invite the other team members Mr. <br /> Magill stated that he would provide the danishes and juice. Ms. Capra stated that she <br /> would arrange for the coffee paperproducts: Ms Capra rental of the <br /> microphone. The committee agreed not to rent the microphone for this event. Ms. Capra <br /> stated that she will contact Cathy Wyland at Community Service to rent the cafeteria. Ms. <br /> Capra also indicated that Theresa Brenner and herself were working on a six month survey <br /> to be filled by residents at up. <br /> PORTABLE EXHIBIT QUOTES <br /> Exhibit Idea #1 <br /> Dennis Johnsoirof Minnesota Displays gave a presentation on the <br /> possibilities of creating a portable exhibit display for indoor /outdoor use within the city. <br /> Aftergiving an overview of his company; Mr. Juluusurriudic,ated that he interested in <br /> assisting the committee with their display needs, although he is not sure if his company <br /> will be to the type of the committee is looking to create. Mr. Johnson <br /> stated that he needs to get specific information from the committee before any quote can <br /> be given. The following items were discussed: <br /> Timeline: End ofJuly <br /> Type Artwork: Sketches drawn Current is <br /> 30x42. Mr. Johnson stated that the sketches would have to be transferred into an <br /> electronic file, and then enlarged. <br /> Size and Structure: Somesortof that we attach to a platfu,u,, that would <br /> portray a sketch (s) of the Design Team visions. Mr. Johnson stated that we need to use a <br /> durable material to ensure prolonged Mn Johnson showed the committee a heavy <br /> plastic type material that his company uses.
