• <br /> Mayor Wilharber requested that a notation be included that he had spoken with <br /> Father Fitzgerald in regards to this matter in the past. <br /> Motion by Council Member Sweeney, seconded by Council Member Nelson <br /> to approve sending the letter with the noted addition to St. Genevieve's <br /> Catholic Church. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> XL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Mayor Wilharber reported he was unable to attend the Police Commission <br /> meeting but had visited with the Chief of Police and will prepare a written report <br /> for Council. <br /> XII. ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> Mr. March reported he received a letter from Mr. Sheehy who is interested in <br /> donating 15 acres of land to the City. There are special assessments pending on <br /> the property in the amount of $74,792 and Mr. Sheehy has agreed to pay 25% of <br /> the assessments. Mr. March told Council he visually surveyed the site and feels it <br /> is a beautiful nature area for a possible park or trail. The site also has potential for <br /> a water tower which would be visible from I35. Mr. March stated that soil <br /> borings could be done if Council desired. <br /> Mayor Wilharber stated he would like to proceed as there are multiple ways the <br /> City could use the property. <br /> Council Member Travis inquired as to whether there was a wetland delineation. <br /> Mr. March told him Anoka County has declared it a wetland. <br /> The consensus was to research the donation further. <br /> Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Broussard <br /> Vickers to accept the donation of land from Mr. Sheehy. All in favor. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. March reported there is a "Meet the Candidates" program scheduled to be <br /> taped for the cable access channel. Mr. March stated that he has requested a copy 4 <br /> of same specific to Centerville. to rws.�u�` „ca.-0 <br /> Council Member Sweeney requested anyone not receiving cable to contact him so <br /> he could bring it to the attention of AT & T Broadband. <br /> Mayor Wilharber reported that on several occasions he has discussed possible <br /> trail connections with the City of Hugo.
